Peter Van Buskirk, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Peter Van Buskirk, senior captain, lead MIT from the goal in
its two upset wins this week over top 20 teams, Iona (7-6) and Brown(10-9).
His totals for the two games were 18 saves, 3 assists and an incredible
16 steals. Both games went to overtime and Van Buskirk was
integral in the wins as MIT held their opponents to a combined 5 for
19 on man-up situations.

Grady Snyder, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Grady Snyder, sophomore driver, lead MIT this weekend to a
4-2 record in California. Over the weekend he won 80% of his team's
sprints and led the team in minutes played, playing a full 28 minutes
in three games. In the Engineers' historic upset of No. 1 ranked Redlands,
Snyder scored two goals, had three assists, three steals and played
the entire game. He also won five of the game's seven sprints and scored
the game winning goal off a shot from seven-meters in sudden death overtime.

Sean Tiner, Brown University
Sean Tiner led the team in scoring against #14 ranked Iona
last weekend. He had 4 goals and drew 2 kickouts in the 10-7 win. Tiner
now has 11 goals on the season for the Bears.

Vedran Sokac, Queens College
Vedran tallied 42 saves on the weekend including 12 one-on-ones
to keep the scores down on against a Queens roster depleted by injury.
Also recorded four steals and one assist.
9-11 Mikhail
Klochkov, Queens College
Mikhail,
the 2002 Nothern Division MVP, led the Knights in goals for the weekend
with 10, including a pair of three goal games in a 9-8 overtime victory
over Navy and a 10-6 loss to LBSU. He also recorded five steals and
one assist as Queens opened its 2003 season at the Navy Open with a
3-1 record.

Jordan Gentry, United States Naval Academy
Jordan led a balanced team effort in the championship game
of the Southern Division Inter-regional tournament with two goals, one
assist and three key steals as Navy defeated Princeton for the first
time in three tries this year.

Brian Mead, Johns Hopkins University
Brian Mead scored 14 goals for the Blue Jays at the ECAC Championship
this weekend, including four in JHU's upset victory over top seeded
Queens College. He added four goals in a 15-10 win over George Washington
on Wednesday evening.

Peter Sabbatini, Princeton University
Peter Sabbatini, a junior from Annapolis, MD, recorded 20 saves
in a 7-6 sudden death win over Navy this past weekend. He also had 10
saves, one steal and one assist in Princeton's 16-8 win over Johns Hopkins,
helping the Tigers improve to a perfect 7-0 this season.

John Stover, Princeton University
Stover scored 14 goals and won 10 of 11 sprints to lead the
Tigers to a 4-0 record in their first weekend of play. The sophomore
driver shot 4-for-4 in the 10-1 win over Queens, scored four goals in
the 11-7 win over Harvard, had three goals, one assist and three steals
in the 14-8 over Brown, and finished the weekend with four more goals
in the 10-6 win over Iona.

Joe Donahue, United States Naval Academy
Joe led Navy
in scoring in three of the Mids' four games at the Navy Open last weekend.
In the squad's big 12-10 victory against Long Beach State, Donahue registered
three goals, all of which came in the fourth quarter. With the score
tied in the final period, the senior took over the game in a two minute
to span to give Navy the lead it wouldn't give up. He lead the squad
with four goals in a 10-4 win against California Baptist and three scores
in a narrow 9-8 loss to Queens. He also played solid defense all weekend.
