Jeanie Ward-Waller, Brown University Sophomore Jeanie Ward-Waller had a strong performance in the Bears' 8-7 victory over #20 Massachusetts, scoring three goals and drawing three ejections at the two-meter position. The 2001 First Team all-Conference selection added two goals, two drawn ejections, and two drawn penalty shots in an 8-6 defeat of Harvard and a goal Brown's victory over Connecticut College. Brown finished the first weekend of CWPA play undefeated, at 3-0.

Kate Chambers, Hartwick College Freshman Kate Chambers had one goal and three assists, drew four kick-outs and had one steal in Hartwick's 11-9 overtime win at University of Massachusetts on Saturday. Chambers is off to a big start to her first season for Hartwick. She is second on the team in scoring (9 goals, 20 assists for 29 points), first in assists, first in steals (26), first in four-meter ejections drawn (4) and second in kick-outs (14).
2-27 Keira Heggie, Brown University Goalkeeper Keira Heggie posted 15 saves and two steals in the Bears' 6-3 win over #19 UMass this past weekend. This gives her 59 saves for the season.
2-20 Megan Thomson, Hartwick College Despite battling some injury problems, All-American Megan Thomson finished with eight goals in three games at the Princeton Invitational. She had two goals against Brown, including the game-winner in sudden-death overtime. Thomson added three goals versus Michigan and had three against Slippery Rock in limited time. Thomson has 22 goals in nine games this year and now has 110 career goals in the two-year history of the program at Hartwick.

Adele McCarthy-Beauvais, Princeton University Adele McCarthy-Beauvais scored eight goals against Michigan on-route to a 17-16 Princeton victory. A day earlier, McCarthy-Beauvais lead the Tigers to a 11-6 victory with four goals against the Hoosiers of Indiana. Earlier in the week, despite a five-goal effort by McCarthy-Beauvais, the Tigers fell to UC Irvine 11-8 and she tallied two goals in the 9-6 loss to San Diego State. Currently she has a team high 66 goals.

Kristin Stanford, Indiana University Junior Kristin Stanford recorded a team high 10 goals on 28 shots in five games over the team's spring break trip (featuring games versus Cal-State Bakersfield, UC-Irvine, LMU, Cal-Baptist and Redlands). Also tallied 10 steals and five assists. Scored three goals each against Cal-Baptist and UC-Irvine. Held her opponents scoreless in the two-meter in all games.

Jen Crisman, University of Michigan Senior Jen Crisman tied a University of Michigan school record with four steals in the Wolverines' 13-8 victory over Slippery Rock. She added a hat trick in a 17-2 defeat of Penn State Behrend and got Michigan's offense started quickly by going undefeated in sprints on the weekend.

Betsey Armstrong enjoyed a strong weekend in the cage at the Brown Invitational
tournament, amassing 35 blocks in three games. She also posted 11 additional
5 on 6 blocks and 15 steals when coming out of the goal. Her performance
was key to the Woverines' wins over #16 Princeton University, #18 Brown
University and Iona College.
2-27 Lisa Greenfield, George Washington University Lisa led GW to a 3-0 weekend, with two victories over Slippery Rock and one win over Bucknell. She recorded a team record 19 saves in the second Slippery Rock game, running her total for the weekend to 37.
