Benefits of Membership

Media Guide

The media guide includes player profiles, Association schedule, team previews, and useful
information for athletes and fans. Every player and Coach within the
Association receives a
copy.

Scheduling

The office handles all scheduling for its members. The advantage of an Association schedule
means not having to worry about officials, pool time, entry fees, and phone
calls to arrange
games.

Player Recognition

The Association presents several opportunities for players to be recognized for their
achievements, both in and out of the classroom. Specifically, student-athletes may
be honored
through all-Academic teams (3.2 GPA or higher), in addition to
all-Conference and all-
Tournament teams during the season.

Publicity

The Association maintains a web site and coordinates a Player of the Week program for
both men and women.

Travel Arrangements

The Association will locate hotels for all of your sites at a discounted rate.

Fundraising

On behalf of all member teams, the Association actively works towards raising money in order
to keep costs low. This effort takes the form of selling promotional items, charging gate fees,
soliciting support from corporations and advertisers, and arranging team discounts with hotels
and equipment retailers.

Awards

The Association provides awards to each of the top two teams in the varsity and club classes,
for both men and women. Coach of the Year and Most Valuable Player awards
are also
distributed by division.

Officials

The Association employs a Director of Officials that assigns all referees for league contests.
The Director also supervises a recruiting and training program intended to
maintain quality
officiating.

Cost

The Association sets different rates according to the number of games within the division.
