FORMER MIT HEAD COACH JEFF MA FEATURED IN USA TODAY

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. (March 26, 2008) --- Former Massachusetts Institute of Technology head coach Jeff Ma has led an exciting life - you could make a movie out of it.

And they did, as Ma was the inspiration for the upcoming film "21".

Ma, who compiled a 90-78 record in seven seasons (1997-2003) as the head men's water polo coach at MIT to rank second in career wins, was just as proficient on the deck of a pool as the green felt of the card table.

In 2003, he led MIT to a 23-9 record and a sixth place finish at the Eastern Championship for the most wins, best overall winning percentage (.719) and finish in the Collegiate Water Polo Associaition in school history.
