$ Teams entering more than one team in the same division must designate their “A” team as the strongest of the two. In the event that two teams from the same institution play one another, the “A” team will receive the win and the score will be listed as 5â€ï¿½0, regardless of the outcome.

* Tie Breaker System - Three or More Teams (for seeding championships)
If more than two teams are tied in won/loss records, goal differentials among the teams tied serves as the tiebreaker to determine the best teams within the group until only two teams remain. The final two teams use their head-to-head results to break the tie. If the goal differential among all teams tied is the same, the total of goals scored against each other is used. If the total of goals scored between the teams is equal, the goal differential between common opponents seeded higher will be used to determine ranking. This may require averaging the goal differential per game if the number of games between common opponents is unequal.

- Since Florida only played UCF once, the average of the meetings between Florida-FSU and FSU-UCF must be used to compile goal differential. Due to this Florida earns the No. 3 seed due to a +2.5 goal differential (15-11 W vs. UCF (+4) / 13-10 L, 10-5 W vs. FSU (+2/2 = +1.  +5/2 = 2.5).  Once Florida is removed from the equation, the results revert to head-to-head play between FSU and UCF in which FSU defeated UCF 13-7 and lost 10-7 for a +3 goal differential.
