All violations of the Code of Conduct  are reviewed by the Commissioner and if appropriate,  referred to the Discipline Committee. The procedure for this committee is outlined below.

Step 1              An allegation or issue arises and a contact is made to the CWPA office

Step 2              The CWPA investigates the situation, gathering statements and information

Step 3              If the situation requires discussion, the Commissioner sends a summary of the issue along with the information to the Discipline Committee. Otherwise he outlines the action to be taken based on current policy.

Step 4              If the matter can be reviewed by video, the CWPA creates an online version for the Discipline Committee’s review

Step 5              The Commissioner arranges for a conference call, wherein the Discipline Committee arrives at a judgment

Step 6              The Commissioner relays the outcome to the parties involved
