Hired in April 2012, Alex Lourido is responsible for the coordination and improved production of the league’s streaming efforts, including the Men’s and Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship, CWPA  Eastern Championship, Men’s Division III Collegiate Club and Women’s Division III Eastern Championship.  In addition, he will oversee the production of video content for the league’s website and advertising for the league’s primary sponsors, KAP7 and Turbo.

The production director for Gofightlive.tv, where he directed field broadcasts of live media events, from 2010-to-2011 for mixed martial arts, boxing and wrestling, he holds previous experience as a Technical Director/Multimedia Manager/Video and Graphic Editor with a variety of organizations.

Lourido began his professional career at American Telecast Corp. in West Chester, Pa.  from 2000-2001 working primarily in thirty-to-sixty second spots for television, including editing film for the Total Gym and Ab Dolly personal fitness machines.

From 2001-to-2006, Lourido served as Production Director at The Production House in Philadelphia, Pa.  directing multi-camera commercial shoots and assisting with the final edit of each project.  From 2006-to-2010, he worked as an Associate Director at P.N. Productions in West Chester producing, writing and editing videos and text content, including product descriptions, media promos, instructions and ad copy.  In addition, he designed and edited animations and graphics for commercials, while designing packaging solutions for 12 products with world-wide distribution.

A 1999 graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Mass Media following five-years as a member of the United States Armed Forces with the Army’s Rangers, Lourido is recognized among the leading magic innovators in North America.  The designer of multiple illusions, he served as a consultant to David Blaine during a live televised event on the American Broadcasting (ABC) Television Network and has provided illusions to both Blaine and Criss Angel for taped and live performances.

He resides in West Chester, Pa. with his wife, Cynthia, and two children.
